the ancient idea of the caves-wombs of the Great goddess-mother as real locations for cosmogonic and initiational ritualism. Thanks to these locations, various notions, beliefs and linear concepts are preserved and are periodically renewed via the process known as archaization. Two models of transformation are presented. The first example examined in the article is one of intentional folklorization of literary scientific texts (the cave erected by father Sauni\u00e8re of Saint Mary Magdalene in Rennes-le-Ch\u00e2teau village in Languedoc). Poland enters the 19th century after its third separation. It is a part of the battlefield of the Napoleon Wars. The Poles count on Napoleon to renew their political reality. But they do not justify themselves. The Congress in Wien turns Poland into a central question for the Great Powers on the continent. The unfair decisions of the Congress set irrevocable conflicts between Poles and Russians. The russification and the cultural and political oppression exacerbate the discontent of Poles to the edge. Their resistance manifest gradually becomes hidden. In 1830 is the next revolutionary peak of the 19th century. The Poles participate in it in the hopes of change. The November uprising is an expression not only of resistance against the Russian Tzarism, but also of the time infested with Romantism. The development of the uprising shows the weaknesses in its preparation and realization, but it is a clear manifestation of the Poles\u2019 pursuit of freedom. The object of this article \u2013 a part of a thesis for the Second professional degree (Nikolova, 2012 : 13-36 , 42-49 ) is an analysis of the process of learning the skills to work with specific historical sources &#8211; art paintings , photographs, cartoons and posters . The analysis focuses on four basic criteria for evaluation &#8211; theoretical knowledge, abilities to identify images, abilities to interpret images and evaluation abilities. The results show that the majority of students meet the educational requirements. There is a high degree of application of the theoretical knowledge. Students easily define facts, images and specific symbols. They are familiar with basic notions on the subject and typical historical documents. Students show high degree of application in their abilities to define the values and expression of opinions. Good is the level of practice of specific abilities for interpretation of images according to the educational requirements.
