values<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE CIVIL DEFICITS IN SOCIOCULTURAL NORM IN LITERATURE EDUCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The article analyzes the socio-cultural competencies determined by the state educational requirements for learning literature in high school. The text emphasizes their inconformity with the standards for civic education as well as with the needs of the civil society for personalities who can think critically and are able to take active and responsible position. The poem has been analyzed in the context of the book \u201cEpic Songs\u201d and the modernist aesthetics of the author. The ideological identity of the theme of suffering has been the special focus of the study. A parallel has been drawn between Slavejkov\u2019s poetic representation of&nbsp; the medieval ruler on the one hand, and his evaluation by historiography on the other. The article describes the publications of Konstantin Konstantinov in \u201cZveno\u201d (\u201cUnit\u201d) journal \u2013 an issue of a signi\ufb01 cant importance with its only 5 numbers (3 books: January; February-March; April-May 1914). Konstantinov\u2019s reviews&nbsp; concerning new works and books by Nikola Rakitin, Ivan Arnaudov, Ivan Andreichin, his critical reviews of \u201cBulgarska Sbirka\u201d (\u201cBulgarian collection\u201d), \u201cModerna Misul\u201d (\u201cModern Thought\u201d) and \u201cDemocraticheski Pregled\u201d (\u201cDemocratic Review\u201d) issues as also the literary critical tribute to Dimitar Boyadzhiev&nbsp; reveal analytical approach and uncompromising rigor, articulate speci\ufb01 c features in his views on art. The article presents the platform of&nbsp; \u201cZveno\u201d journal through Konstantinov\u2019s concept developed in his memoirs book \u201cPut prez godinite\u201d (\u201cWay Through the Years\u201d), stresses and stability of his critical judgment regarding Nikola Rakitin and Dimitar Boyadzhiev (through their later portraits in the memoirs opus, mentioned before). Konstantinov\u2019s \ufb01 ctional texts in \u201cZveno\u201d \u2013 \u201cNoshtem\u201d (\u201cThrough the Night\u201d) and \u201cStranici ot edna nezavurshena povest.
