Absract. Georgi Raichev feels the continuous need to remember and tell about his friend Debelyanov and he does so –in practice, until the end of his life. The present text will try to develop the (hypo)thesis that, in addition to the standard memorial formats (in jubilee collections, memorial sheets, etc.), in which
Raychev recalls moments from his joint experiences with Dimcho, he implants the
personality in a specific way to his friend and in one of his first significant texts the story “Tiny World” (1919). It is about both the possibility of drawing analogies between character traits of the main character and the poet, as well as the scattering of moments from Debelyanov‘s (pre)war life and/or from his (mainly frontline) lyrics throughout the narrative.
